At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify common and serious infection prevention and control (IPAC) lapses that may be occurring in their office.
- Implement risk strategies to prevent and control infectious disease transmission to patients and staff.
- Identify key contacts and resources to support effective IPAC practices in the clinical office setting.
- Describe the common travel-related communicable diseases in Peel and potential barriers to seeking a pre-travel medical consultation.
- Implement strategies for counselling patients on prevention of travel-related communicable diseases.
